As Head of Product, you will be responsible for shaping and overseeing Holzkern’s entire product journey — from the first spark of an idea to successful market performance.
You will lead the strategy, design, and development of our watches, jewelry, and accessories — aligning every decision with customer needs, data insights, and our brand promise of “Naturally Unique.” You’ll bring together creativity and structure, design and data, vision and execution.
This role is about more than just launches: It’s about building a high-performing, high-quality portfolio that delivers economics, emotion, and lasting value — across all touchpoints and departments.
Your areas of responsibility
Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership
Define and evolve a clear product vision aligned with Holzkern’s long-term goals and customer needs
Manage a structured roadmap and ensure a balanced portfolio mix — driven by incrementality, market potential, and brand fit
Phase out low performers and sharpen category positioning using a data-backed portfolio logic
Product Development & Process Leadership
Own the end-to-end product development process: trend scouting, prototyping, supplier alignment, launch execution
Act as process owner across design, development, procurement and production — ensuring feasibility, scalability, and alignment
Design & Brand Expression
Lead the product design team to craft iconic pieces that embody our natural, emotional, and premium brand identity
Balance aesthetics, functionality, material innovation, and manufacturability and ensure strong integration of storytelling and uniqueness in every design decision
Data-Driven Product Management
Implement structured decision-making tools based on product performance, feedback, cannibalization, margins, and lifecycle stages
Partner with Finance to sharpen forecasting, pricing, and product profitability
Marketing & Launch Readiness
Collaborate closely with Marketing&Sales on marketability and strategy of products and launches
Ensure clear product communication: from launch story to material facts, from PDP specs to in-store product knowledge
Quality Collaboration
Work hand-in-hand with Quality, Procurement, and Logistics to elevate product standards and post-launch satisfaction
Drive feedback loops on product flaws, returns, and reclamations — with a focus on prevention, not firefighting
Team Leadership & Culture
Lead and coach your team of Product Managers and Designers, fostering ownership, excellence, and innovation
Set clear OKRs and project priorities based on revenue, strategic fit, and execution speed
Your profile
3–5 years in a leadership product role (e.g. Head of Product, Category Lead, etc.) in watches/jewelry, fashion, or lifestyle brands
Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with deep product sensibility and commercial understanding Experience managing physical products across multiple categories and lifecycles
Hands-on leadership experience: you bring vision, process, and structure into play — and drive outcomes with your team
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and external partners
Fluent in English, German would be beneficial
Strong Excel and tool literacy (e.g.project management tools)
