We are looking for a highly ambitious Senior Photographer with strong commercial and product photography expertise who is ready to shape, elevate, and continuously develop the visual language of HOLZKERN.
In this role, you will combine hands-on creative excellence with a strategic and performance-oriented mindset. Working closely with our photo team, you will set new quality standards, ensure consistent brand representation, and directly contribute to the visual impact of our products across all digital/non-digital touchpoints.

This position is designed for someone who is not only an exceptional photographer but also has the ambition and potential to grow into a future Team Lead or Creative Lead position within the Visual Content department.

Your areas of responsibility

Execute high-quality product, lifestyle, and campaign photoshoots independently and consistently on brand.
Shape and evolve HOLZKERN’s visual language through excellent set design, lighting concepts, and creative direction.
Use problem-solving, creative thinking, and an I/O-driven mindset to find the best possible solution within real-world constraints.
Develop and maintain strong pre- & post-production workflows, including AI-enhanced tools and automation where relevant.
Conduct A/B tests across Google channels and the website to measure visual performance and optimize creative decisions.
Manage and update product photo assets across PDPs and features to ensure consistent, accurate, high-quality representation.
Provide mentorship to junior photographers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Visual Content and take ownership of planning, documentation, and project execution.

Your profile

Several years of proven experience in product and commercial photography.
Exceptional problem-solving ability, with strong resourcefulness and the ability to optimize for the best Input/Output outcome.
Mastery of Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, plus strong skills in additional tools and AI-based solutions for retouching, automation, or workflow optimization.
Excellent understanding of lighting, set design, visual storytelling, and e-commerce visual requirements.
Strong time management, independence, and structured working habits.
High attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent brand aesthetics.
Open to feedback, collaborative, reliable, and ambitious — with potential to grow into team lead role.

Wir suchen eine:n hochambitionierte:n Senior Photographer, der/die über starke Expertise in der Produkt- und Werbefotografie verfügt und bereit ist, die visuelle Bildsprache von HOLZKERN aktiv mitzugestalten, zu prägen und kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln.

In dieser Rolle kombinierst du hands-on kreative Exzellenz mit einem strategischen und performance orientierten Mindset. Gemeinsam mit unserem Foto-Team setzt du neue Qualitätsstandards, stellst eine konsistente Markenästhetik sicher und trägst direkt zur visuellen Wirkung unserer Produkte über alle digitalen und nicht-digitalen Touchpoints hinweg bei.

Die Position richtet sich an jemanden, der fotografisch außergewöhnlich stark ist und gleichzeitig die Ambition und das Potenzial mitbringt, perspektivisch eine Rolle mit Personalverantwortung oder Kreativleitung im Visual-Content-Bereich zu übernehmen.

Deine Aufgabenbereiche

Eigenständige Durchführung von hochwertigen Produkt-, Lifestyle- und Kampagnen-Shootings in konstant markenkonformer Qualität.
Mitgestaltung und Weiterentwicklung der visuellen HOLZKERN-Bildsprache durch exzellentes Set-Design, Lichtführung und kreative Direktion.
Lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten unter realen Rahmenbedingungen – mit kreativem Denken und einem Input/Output-orientierten Ansatz, um stets die bestmögliche Lösung zu erzielen.
Aufbau und Pflege effizienter Pre- & Post-Production-Workflows, inkl. Nutzung von AI-gestützten Tools und Automatisierung, wo sinnvoll.
Durchführung von A/B-Tests über Google-Kanäle und die Website, um visuelle Performance zu messen und datenbasiert zu optimieren.
Management und Aktualisierung von Produktfoto-Assets auf PDPs und Feature-Seiten für eine konsistente, akkurate und hochwertige Darstellung.
Mentoring von Junior-Fotograf:innen sowie aktive Beteiligung an Workshops und Wissensaustausch.
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Head of Visual Content sowie eigenverantwortliche Planung, Dokumentation und Umsetzung deiner Projekte.

Das bringst du mit

Mehrjährige, nachweisliche Erfahrung in der Produkt- und Werbefotografie.
Ausgeprägte Problemlösungsfähigkeit, hohe Eigeninitiative sowie der Anspruch, stets ein optimales Input/Output-Verhältnis zu erreichen.
Exzellente Kenntnisse in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, kombiniert mit starken Fähigkeiten in weiteren Tools – insbesondere AI-basierten Lösungen für Retusche, Automatisierung oder Workflow-Optimierung.
Tiefes Verständnis für Licht, Set-Gestaltung, visuelles Storytelling und die Anforderungen an E-Commerce-Bildwelten.
Sehr gutes Zeitmanagement, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und hohe Selbstständigkeit.
